How it Works

Describe the repair requested in detail and to the best of your ability. Provide all information that may be useful to the mechanics in determining the most accurate preliminary estimate. Take pictures of the damaged area and upload them (if the damage is visible).

As early as noon the next business day (depending on what time you submitted your work request), receive up to four (4) bids from local mechanics outlining the projected cost and duration of the job, including parts and labor.  You choose a shop only if you are satisfied with their:

  1. estimated bid (best and worst case scenario)
  2. estimated time required to complete the job
  3. distance from your home or work
  4. level of experience
  5. Better Business Bureau ranking
  6. WEBchanic rating

If you do hire a shop, rate them and describe your experience following the completion of the job.  If you got a good deal and the repair facility was friendly, honest, and helpful, praise and recommend the shop to others.  On the other hand, if you felt you were overcharged and question the shop’s integrity or quality of work, warn others to stay away.
